Public Service Enterprise Group (PSEG) is a publicly traded energy and energy services company headquartered in New Jersey. PSEG is a charter member of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) Wastewise Program, and a member of the Wastewise Hall of Fame. One of the reasons that PSEG has garnered so much recognition in the Wastewise Program, is its extensive program of treating many of its waste items as assets to be reutilized in some way. In 2007 alone, PSEG prevented more than 219,000 pounds of electronics from entering the waste stream by donating, recycling, selling or redeploying the equipment.
